Silly Shrimphony, Chow

When Quinn joins the symphony orchestra for the first time, he’s met with a cacophony of clashing sounds. The toot toot of the flute, the plucka ding ding of the pipa, the bah dum of the tuba ... what a mess! Will these silly shrimp ever learn to play together? With catchy rhymes, playful onomatopoeia and bright, colorful illustrations, Silly Shrimphony is an exciting celebration of Eastern and Western instruments, melodies and harmonies and the magic of teamwork.

Silly Shrimphony is a fun, rhyming music book that introduces children to different instruments in a symphony orchestra, including both classical orchestral instruments, as well as Chinese instruments. Each instrument has playful onomatopoeia highlighted, making the book fun to read and hear aloud.
