Holiday Shipping & Shopping Updates

Thank you for making the Symphony Store part of your holidays! Please read below for pertinent information on holiday orders placed on symphonystore.com and extended shopping hours at the Symphony Store in the Elizabeth Morse Genius Music Lab.

Online Shopping Updates

Orders placed on symphonystore.com may not arrive in time for Christmas. Due to in-store traffic volume at Symphony Center, we are unable to offer expedited shipping options to accommodate last-minute holiday shopping.

Holiday shipping deadlines for the United States Postal Service are as follows:

  • USPS Ground Advantage: Wednesday, December 17
  • USPS Priority Mail: Thursday, December 18

We will continue fulfilling orders through 3:00 p.m. CST on Tuesday, December 23. The symphonystore.com team will be on holiday break from Tuesday, December 24, to Monday, January 5. Orders placed after the December 23 deadline will be shipped on Tuesday, January 6, 2026.

Customer support will be limited from December 24 to January 5. Please direct all inquiries to symphonystore@cso.org, and a member of the team will respond when our offices reopen on January 6, 2026. Phone support will be unavailable while our offices are closed.

In-Store Shopping Updates

The Symphony Store in the Elizabeth Morse Genius Music Lab will offer extended shopping hours to accommodate patrons for all Chicago Symphony Orchestra programs through December 23, 2025. Daily hours are as follows:

  • Tuesday, December 16, 11:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, December 17, 11:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, December 18, 11:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
  • Friday, December 19, 11:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, December 20, 11:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
  • Sunday, December 21, 11:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m.
  • Monday, December 22, 11:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, December 23, 11:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m.

The Symphony Store in the Elizabeth Morse Genius Music Lab will be closed from Wednesday, December 24, to Thursday, January 1. The Store will reopen at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, January 2, 2026.
