Fritz Reiner Conducts Richard Strauss (CD)

Fritz Reiner is, of course, closely associated with the music of Richard Strauss. His first stereo recordings, and the first conducted for RCA for what would become their legendary Living Stereo imprint, featured Strauss’ Also sprach Zarathustra. In his career, Reiner conducted this music countless times, and three gems of this repertoire are found here in newly mastered recordings by Pristine Audio.
