Kodály: Háry János Suite, Järvi (CD)

Neeme Järvi leads the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in the music of Zoltán Kodály, including his well-loved Háry János Suite and Dances of Galánta. Kodály’s music features virtuosic and iconic solos across the orchestra, including an extensive clarinet solo in Galánta (performed here by former CSO principal clarinet Larry Combs) and several percussion features in Háry János.
