Verdi's Aida Silk Scarf

This luxurious silk twill scarf captures a scene from Verdi's opera, Aida. Egyptian hieroglyphs set the backdrop, rendered in the look of rich stone, gold, blue and teal hues. Notations from the iconic aria "Celeste Aida" surround the intricate center of the design, inscribing the love between Radames and Aida. All around, Ethiopian and Egyptian warriors clash in battle, while the center poignantly portrays the lovers' tragic fate: sealed in a tomb, forever entwined in each other's arms. Measures approximately 13" x 60", made from 100% pure silk twill. Designed by Julia Anna Lewis.
